As a little girl, I was infatuated with babies. After losing my only sister when I was five, I prayed for ten years for another baby sister. At 15, my prayers were answered, and I was the designated photographer at my little sister’s birth. The next year, my mother gave birth to a second little girl, whose birth I also eagerly attended. Witnessing the miracle of birth at such a young age sparked something within me. I realized that pregnancy, birth, and postpartum are among the most sacred times of a woman’s life, and I felt called to serve as a doula at the age of 25. While struggling with infertility for almost four years due to PCOS, I had to set that dream aside.
In November 2023, after a few emotional breakdowns and an appetite that had doubled, I took a pregnancy test—and it was positive. From that exact moment, I was ecstatic to give birth. With support from family and incredible friends, I had a wonderful pregnancy that led to an amazing unmedicated birth of my first daughter. It was transformative, raw, primal, beautiful, sacred, empowering, and so much more.
After settling into motherhood, I knew it was time to pursue my dream of supporting women through this sacred season of transformation. At the end of 2025, I became certified and attended the birth of my first official client.
