Welcome to Woven Within Birth Collective, we are so glad you're here! We want to kick off our blog by sharing who we are, our hearts and our focus for mothers, and what our vision is for the community. Follow along with us as we nurture, guide, and support mothers through the most sacred journey of their lives.

Who we are

Our friendship began in high school, where we spent our early years making memories in classrooms and on the volleyball court. As life naturally carried us into different paths college, moving, marriage our friendship endured, though from a distance.

Time, however, has a remarkable way of bringing people back together when they need one another most. What began as a season of reconnection and rebuilding our friendship soon revealed a deeper shared experience: both of us were quietly walking through our own infertility journeys.

As we navigated this tender season, we began working together to support and heal our bodies through natural, clean, and intentional practices. We encouraged one another through discouraging moments, shared research and resources, and walked side by side as we prepared our bodies for the dream of motherhood we both deeply longed for.

Madeleine dove deeply into the physiological approach to healing infertility, which led to a natural conception in 2023 and ultimately a physiological, natural birth in 2024. She openly shared what she had learned with Alyssa—offering guidance, encouragement, and hope. Inspired by her friend’s experience, Alyssa expanded her own research and understanding of conception and birth, while implementing the same holistic lifestyle practices Madeleine had encouraged.

Nearly one year to the day later, Alyssa called Madeleine with joyful news—it was her turn. Our babies were born just one year and five days apart.

We have always found ourselves aligned in the seasons of life we walk through, and this shared timing allowed a deep love for pregnancy, birth, and maternal care to grow within us both. Our personal journeys, paired with years of shared study and intentional learning, led us to create Woven Within Birth Collective.

Our heart is to foster a nurturing, supportive environment for first-time and seasoned mothers alike—offering an extra layer of care, strength, and compassion as families walk their own unique birth journeys.
